Nitrous Oxide Sedation:

Also known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide mixed with oxygen is inhaled through a mask placed over your nose. This minimal form of sedation takes effect quickly, leaving you feeling relaxed and comfortable. Once your dental procedure is over and we remove the mask, the sedative's effects will wear off immediately, allowing you to drive home and resume your daily activities.

Oral Conscious Sedation:

We'll administer oral medication before your appointment to help you relax during dental treatment. Depending on the dose of medication, the level of sedation can range from minimal to moderate. You may feel sleepy but will remain responsive. Most patients remember very little of their treatment. The effects of oral sedation will linger, so you'll need to have a friend or trusted family member drive you home.
